In the 5th minute, Gogo Ugutz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th match minute, Boulogne del Ciclón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Rufio to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Joystick XXXV booed when Boulogne del Ciclón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Firmin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evaristo Rufio scored 0-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sergio Goycochea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Boulogne del Ciclón's Joaquin Mon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Jerano in the 35th minute of play. Sergio Goycochea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Boulogne, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 37th minute, Honorio Beila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vladimiro Vimaro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sergio Goycochea. Joystick XXXV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 39th minute, Joystick XXXV's Guillermo Gizon seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Guillermo Gizon the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Joystick XXXV protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Guillermo Gizon had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Joystick XXXV's Guillermo Gizon got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute of the match Vladimiro Vimaro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sergio Goycochea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 44th minute Evaristo Rufio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Goycochea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Boulogne del Ciclón were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonathan Remigio was the one to do the kick off. Vladimiro Vimaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergio Goycochea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Honorio Beila hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 68 minutes of play Boulogne del Ciclón's Haroldo Firmin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Boulogne del Ciclón's Haroldo Firmin got a free kick in the 69th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Joystick XXXV's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Montae came free, but Sergio Goycochea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Boulogne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joystick XXXV's Narciso Soter was substituted for Gavino Truylos. In the 85th match minute, Joystick XXXV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Beila to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Vladimiro Vimaro from long distance, 86 minutes into the match, got Sergio Goycochea's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Vladimiro Vimaro got free in front of the goal in the 87th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Sergio Goycochea was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Boulogne del Ciclón's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
