An unexpectedly hard shot by Alphonse Tchami in the 27th minute of play forced ReyPoxo's goalkeeper Huly Pedrosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, The Waldos's J.J Riquelme got a free kick in the 35th minute. The Waldos's Sergio Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Servando Dorado in the 38th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaudencio Valery during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, Gaudencio Valery hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the game, Fulgencio Ederono was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Waldos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ReyPoxo the free kick. After 41 played minutes The Waldos got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Ederono. Huly Pedrosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alphonse Tchami in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Alphonse Tchami made the kick off in the second half. Huly Pedrosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alphonse Tchami, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Moises Senio took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Huly Pedrosa. Huly Pedrosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Moises Senio hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 84th match minute, The Waldos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Ederono to maneuver through the defense. Servando Dorado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute, ReyPoxo's Servando Dorado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sergio Romero. Sergio Romero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Huly Pedrosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardino Joachim, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After 96 minutes, Andrés Olmos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ReyPoxo and the The Waldos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Andrés Olmos kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. ReyPoxo's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because The Waldos had won, even though ReyPoxo had held more of the ball.
