Taco Zwartkruis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, C.A.Esparta's goal looked a bit too open when Adalbert Oblakov came free, but Silverio Cordara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silverio Cordara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adalbert Oblakov, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Silbestre in the 18th minute of play forced Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalkeeper Taco Zwartkruis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Adolfo Silbestre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A.Esparta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Andy Scholte came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Julias Rascals Apeldoorn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andy Scholte couldn't finish the play. After 26 played minutes C.A.Esparta got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Malvin. Silverio Cordara stood somewhat misplaced when Adalbert Oblakov came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 27 minute. C.A.Esparta's Silverio Cordara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Scholte in the 31st minute of play. If Andy Scholte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Urbano hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Silbestre in the 38th minute of play forced Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalkeeper Taco Zwartkruis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Ceferino Miro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Taco Zwartkruis. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ceferino Miro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When Christian Urbano came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Julias Rascals Apeldoorn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Urbano couldn't finish the play. After the first half C.A.Esparta were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adalbert Oblakov to strike the kick off in the second half. If Gilberto Nofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andy Scholte scored 2-3 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silverio Cordara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Taco Zwartkruis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Julias Rascals Apeldoorn from getting a goal against them. Adalbert Oblakov scored 3-3 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silverio Cordara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd match minute, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adalbert Oblakov to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Silbestre got free with Taco Zwartkruis in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 77 minutes, Denis Senon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.Esparta and the Julias Rascals Apeldoorn players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 78 played minutes C.A.Esparta got a freekick which was hit by Denis Senon. Silverio Cordara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henny Braamhaar in the 79th minute of the match. After 81 minutes, Max Winters mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Julias Rascals Apeldoorn and the C.A.Esparta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Max Winters kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, C.A.Esparta's Erasmo Beltza got a free kick in the 89th minute. Christian Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Silverio Cordara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Henny Braamhaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Cordara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
