The audience was convinced that Jonathan Veronica's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Taco Zwartkruis was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Taco Zwartkruis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Veronica, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute Christian Urbano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Lluc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adalbert Oblakov took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Lluc. Angelo Lluc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's zone, Jonathan Veronica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Taco Zwartkruis came out of the goal and Jonathan Veronica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, Les Tigres's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Staal came free, but Angelo Lluc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Lluc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Staal in the 22nd minute of play. Jonathan Veronica took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Taco Zwartkruis. Taco Zwartkruis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Taco Zwartkruis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Veronica in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Christian Urbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Urbano in the 36th minute of play forced Les Tigres's goalkeeper Angelo Lluc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Veronicas short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Taco Zwartkruis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Angelo Lluc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Vinicio Jon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henny Braamhaar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo Lluc having to make a save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Rigoberto Iratze made the kick off in the second half. Ab Berends made in the 58th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Henny Braamhaar. In the 63rd minute, Damian Rojas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Henny Braamhaar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Les Tigres's Angelo Lluc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalbert Oblakov in the 68th minute of play. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Adalbert Oblakov suffered a concussion after 69 minutes and had to leave the field. Jonathan Veronica's late challenge caught a Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Veronica helped the player get up and apologised. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Angelo Lluc successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Les Tigres's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jan Staal was slow to take the kick. During this time Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's corner Jan Staal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Angelo Lluc quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Raymond in the 78th minute of play forced Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalkeeper Taco Zwartkruis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Lluc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andy Scholte in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Ab Berends hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Govert Kool ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Angelo Lluc. Angelo Lluc yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 96th minute Govert Kool shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Lluc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
