The tension between the Les Tigres and the Xiboquinha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jeremias Preuss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Angelo Lluc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júlio Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Veronica, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Júlio Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Veronica in the 10th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Elder Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jonathan Veronica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Xiboquinha FC's Elder Paranaense got a free kick in the 19th minute. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Jonathan Veronica put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Júlio Linares. In the 23rd minute, Vinicio Jon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the game, Xiboquinha FC's Jeremias Preuss nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Lluc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 31st minute, Jonathan Veronica ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júlio Linares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Baiano in the 34th minute of play forced Les Tigres's goalkeeper Angelo Lluc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 played minutes Les Tigres got a freekick which was hit by Albano Esiquio. Romulo Lizar kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Romulo Lizar hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Les Tigres's goal looked a bit too open when Guto Tasso came free, but Angelo Lluc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Les Tigres's Angelo Lluc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléberson Sanches in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guto Tasso was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Les Tigres's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Preuss came free, but Angelo Lluc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Lluc came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Xiboquinha FC's Kléberson Sanches. But to his dismay, Kléberson Sanches quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Júlio Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Veronica, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vinicio Jon during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Vinicio Jon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Veronica in the 68th minute of play forced Xiboquinha FC's goalkeeper Júlio Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nereo Ladio's late challenge caught a Xiboquinha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nereo Ladio helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpected shot in the 79th minute by Albano Esiquio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 83 minutes into the match, Xiboquinha FC's goalkeeper Júlio Linares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Veronica. 86 minutes into the match, Les Tigres's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Preuss came free, but Angelo Lluc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute of the match, Jonathan Veronica tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Júlio Linares saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 91 minutes Xiboquinha FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Damian Rojas who took care of the corner kick. Les Tigres's Amado Raymond was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Júlio Linares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 91 minutes into the game, Amado Raymond lined in a short shot 2-4 behind a frustrated Júlio Linares.
