Pocho Citko came out of the goal and Kléberson Sanches tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xiboquinha FC's Júlio Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziemowit Zyskowski in the 34th minute of play. When Rega Merida CF's Ziemowit Zyskowski in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Ziemowit Zyskowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Júlio Linares was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Júlio Linares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 59th minute, Damian Zimniy fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Júlio Linares, passed just outside the right post. In the 60th minute, Ziemowit Zyskowski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Júlio Linares. The goal made the score 1-3. Ziemowit Zyskowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Júlio Linares made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Rega Merida CF's Júlio Linares threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Raúl Gonzales, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Júlio Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Zimniy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the game, Roland Jakubiak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rega Merida CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xiboquinha FC the free kick. In the 75th match minute, Rega Merida CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Jakubiak to maneuver through the defense. Rega Merida CF's Kajetan Paciuszko was substituted for Roland Jakubiak. After having played for 78 minutes, Timo Werner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rega Merida CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timo Werner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Timo Werner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júlio Linares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Rega Merida CF's Timo Werner slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Júlio Linares. That made the score 1-5 after 85 minutes of play. After 87 played minutes Rega Merida CF got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Jazowski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléberson Sanches in the 94th minute of play forced Rega Merida CF's goalkeeper Pocho Citko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rega Merida CF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
