Les Tigres's Angelo Lluc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Nofre in the 27th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Angelo Lluc successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rigoberto Iratze blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silverio Cordara having to make a save. Albano Esiquio's late challenge caught a C.A.Esparta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albano Esiquio helped the player get up and apologised. Albano Esiquio hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Silverio Cordara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albano Esiquio went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lino Arnau during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 89 played minutes C.A.Esparta got a freekick which was hit by Lino Arnau. The C.A.Esparta supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Les Tigres's performance. The match ended with a win for Les Tigres.
