Spectators: 7468 (Terracing: 5602, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carlos Alberto de Amaral got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Abelardo Phelipe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lúcio Mota was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hernan Loramendi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlinhos Schmidt in the 9th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Carlos Alberto de Amaral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hernan Loramendi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With an all-out effort, Paranhos Ariranha FC's Hernan Loramendi threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlinhos Schmidt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Los Golosos getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Alfredo Lope hit a great ball. In the last second Hernan Loramendi throw himself and got hold of the ball when Carlinhos Schmidt in the 18thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After a rather tough play, Paranhos Ariranha FC's Carlos Alberto de Amaral got a free kick in the 19th minute. Abelardo Phelipe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Mota having to interfere. Lúcio Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Phelipe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Los Golosos's Roberto Mouzo to fire away a dangerous shot which Lúcio Mota despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Eugenio Herrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hernan Loramendi made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Carlos Alberto de Amaral sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th match minute, Paranhos Ariranha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilton Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. When Los Golosos's Alfredo Lope in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paranhos Ariranha FC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teobaldo Rosalio during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Teobaldo Rosalio hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Hernan Loramendi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fausto Fernandez. In the 45th minute, Alfredo Lope got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abelardo Phelipe in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lúcio Mota prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abelardo Phelipe to strike the kick off in the second half. Paranhos Ariranha FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Eugenio Herrera scored to the left of an out of position Lúcio Mota, making the score, 1-2. Lúcio Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Phelipe in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Los Golosos getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Prospero Cordarrol hit a great ball. After 65 played minutes Abelardo Phelipe rounded Paranhos Ariranha FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. Lúcio Mota made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Abelardo Phelipe sent off a good shot on target. Hernan Loramendi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto de Amaral in the 85th minute of play. When Faustino Toro fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Golosos's protests and gave Faustino Toro a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 played minutes Los Golosos got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Toro. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Fausto Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paranhos Ariranha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Fernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernan Loramendi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the match, Eugenio Herrera dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lúcio Mota, 1-4. Eugenio Herrera took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lúcio Mota. Lúcio Mota dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. The Paranhos Ariranha FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Los Golosos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
