Przemyslaw Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Benitez in the 12th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Gustaw Ruszkowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zacisze Częstochowa and the Manfredi AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Zacisze Częstochowa booed when Manfredi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodosio Fidele didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Manfredi AFC's zone, Przemyslaw Zidane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Abad came out of the goal and Przemyslaw Zidane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nereo Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislaw Damaski in the 17th minute of play. Nereo Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Przemyslaw Zidane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaw Ruszkowski in the 19th minute of play forced Manfredi AFC's goalkeeper Nereo Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregorio Tiadoro came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Przemyslaw Taffarel could save by the left post. A collision led to Zacisze Częstochowa getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Gwidon Osowski hit a great ball. Jacinto Benitez might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Przemyslaw Taffarel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacinto Benitez ran back to his position shaking his head. Manfredi AFC's Nereo Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radoslaw Serwach in the 25th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregorio Tiadoro got free with Przemyslaw Taffarel in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Przemyslaw Zidane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the game, Zacisze Częstochowa's Przemyslaw Zidane nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nereo Abad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Manfredi AFC's Nereo Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radoslaw Serwach in the 34th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Przemyslaw Trezeguet was the one to do the kick off. Manfredi AFC's Nereo Abad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Manfredi AFC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Przemyslaw Trezeguet kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nereo Abad. That made the score 0-3 in the 53 minute of play. In the 59th minute, Pablo Cordeal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute Gustaw Ruszkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 minutes of play, Zacisze Częstochowa's Radoslaw Serwach made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nereo Abad was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Kryspin Falkowski got free with Nereo Abad in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nereo Abad acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 79th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Przemyslaw Zidane. Kryspin Falkowski scored 0-7 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nereo Abad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Clodoveo Urki fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manfredi AFC's protests and gave Clodoveo Urki a yellow card for diving instead. Clodoveo Urki hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Manfredi AFC's Nereo Abad got control of the ball when Stanislaw Damaski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nereo Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Przemyslaw Zidane in the 86th minute of the match. Manfredi AFC's Angel Seguinus quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Wit Mindykowski, made in the 87th minute of the game. In the 88th minute Gregorio Tiadoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Przemyslaw Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Przemyslaw Trezeguet in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nereo Abad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 94 minutes into the game, Zacisze Częstochowa's Stanislaw Damaski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nereo Abad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Zacisze Częstochowa played a much better game than Manfredi AFC and deserved their victory. The Manfredi AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
