When Ingvar Levander fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oakcroft Thrashers's protests and gave Ingvar Levander a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Piotrków Trybunalski booed when Oakcroft Thrashers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Levander didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 4 minutes, Bartosz Miazga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piotrków Trybunalski's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartosz Miazga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Dan Wassenius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Mentus was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dan Wassenius in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leon Mentus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mieszko Czysta struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Mårten Nordström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piotrków Trybunalski. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Jonathan Svensson put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Leon Mentus. Kacper Domala charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kacper Domala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Piotrków Trybunalski's Kacper Domala got a free kick in the 14th minute. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Jonathan Svensson sped through Piotrków Trybunalski's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leon Mentus. A collision led to Piotrków Trybunalski getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Sebastian Basaik hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Dan Wassenius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Oakcroft Thrashers's Carl Apelqvist got a free kick in the 34th minute. Leon Mentus made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Jonathan Svensson sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute, Dan Wassenius reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leon Mentus. The goal made the score 3-0. Dan Wassenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Mentus having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kacper Domala was the one to do the kick off. Piotrków Trybunalski's Leon Mentus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Svensson in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th match minute, Piotrków Trybunalski was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliusz Fronczak to maneuver through the defense. Eskil Ekrot took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leon Mentus. Piotrków Trybunalski's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Piotrków Trybunalski's Antoni Falke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mårten Nordström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Leon Mentus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Svensson in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Aureliusz Fronczak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Oakcroft Thrashers's Eskil Ekrot tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Piotrków Trybunalski booed when Oakcroft Thrashers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Zander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dan Wassenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Mentus having to interfere. Villiam Finman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Leon Mentus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, Oakcroft Thrashers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Svensson to maneuver through the defense. After 93 played minutes Oakcroft Thrashers got a freekick which was hit by Dan Wassenius. Kacper Domala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mårten Nordström having to interfere. Oakcroft Thrashers's Mårten Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kacper Domala in the 96th minute of play. Oakcroft Thrashers's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
