The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Will Greenberg got a free kick in the 8th minute. When RAMBO FC's Jacinto Lobado in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Will Greenberg was shown his second yellow card after 17 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Will Greenberg got a free kick in the 17th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Qikiqtarjuaq FC's zone, Tello Picado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jason Achin came out of the goal and Tello Picado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the game, Michael Owen threw the ball into play from the sideline. RAMBO FC's Polo Laime quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Zabal Bucaran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cyrus Velasco in the 29th minute. Jaizki Chirivoga kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Itzaina Lecubarri hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Zabal Bucaran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denver Grimes, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Tello Picado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37thth minute of the game Jacinto Lobado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Jason Achin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A nice corner shot did that Leo Laime got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jason Achin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mario Dostie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Zabal Bucaran made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cyrus Velasco was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, RAMBO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Dostie came free, but Zabal Bucaran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leo Laime sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zabal Bucaran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyrus Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Dostie in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zabal Bucaran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jason Achin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tello Picado in the 62nd minute. Itzaina Lecubarri kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denver Grimes in the 65th minute of play forced RAMBO FC's goalkeeper Zabal Bucaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Jacinto Lobado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jason Achin, 1-1. Zabal Bucaran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyrus Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Cyrus Velasco hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Cyrus Velasco notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of RAMBO FC's Zabal Bucaran. Zabal Bucaran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 85 minutes into the game, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Cyrus Velasco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zabal Bucaran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 88th minute, Cyrus Velasco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zabal Bucaran was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Jacinto Lobado hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Qikiqtarjuaq FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
