Egídio Lucas charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Egídio Lucas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes Icoara Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Lucas. Sune Överman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Icoara Football Club's Fabrício Rosa got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 31 played minutes Icoara Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Valdo Lima. Caetano Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sune Överman, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sune Överman in the 37th minute of play. Fidel Felo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Helge Trillkott struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Caetano Monteiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lobster if. Caetano Monteiro made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Mujahid Lim sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mujahid Lim was the one to do the kick off. Caetano Monteiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sune Överman's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sune Överman in the 54th minute of play. Caetano Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Quilempan, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Carlinhos Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Caetano Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sune Överman in the 64th minute of the match. Caetano Monteiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 78 played minutes Icoara Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fernando Pitta. When Gabriel Matsson fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lobster if's protests and gave Gabriel Matsson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Icoara Football Club booed when Lobster if was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Matsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rolando Quilempan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caetano Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sune Överman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caetano Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mujahid Lim, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When the referee ended the match the Lobster if players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
