Tudor Bărbânță started the match with the kick off. Alin Agud hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Grzegorz Furlit kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Gigi Câmpeanu made a precise shot to the right of Zbyszek Drab. Myszków SSA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a little luck, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Karl-Ove Andersson got control of the ball when Wojciech Zbytniewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 11th minute, Myszków SSA's Wojciech Zbytniewski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Karl-Ove Andersson. Karl-Ove Andersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Podolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zbyszek Drab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Bărbânță in the 27th minute of the match. Myszków SSA's Zbyszek Drab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigi Câmpeanu in the 28th minute of play. Wojciech Zbytniewskis short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Karl-Ove Andersson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Karl-Ove Andersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Podolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pål Ström hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Myszków SSA's Boleslaw Przewozik got a free kick in the 36th minute. Zbyszek Drab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Bărbânță in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Podolski in the 42nd minute of play forced FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Karl-Ove Andersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Gigi Câmpeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszek Drab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wojciech Zbytniewski to strike the kick off in the second half. Alin Agud was shown his second yellow card after 52 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to FC UNIREA Alba Iulia getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Alin Agud hit a great ball. Karl-Ove Andersson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wojciech Zbytniewski went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 60 minutes into the game, Gigi Câmpeanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Myszków SSA the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Gigi Câmpeanu got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Cristian Casian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zbigniew Bugajski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karl-Ove Andersson. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zbyszek Drab prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mihai Odobescu in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Grzegorz Furlit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zbyszek Drab made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tudor Bărbânță in the 85th minute. When Karol Podolski came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Myszków SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karol Podolski couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wojciech Zbytniewski in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Ove Andersson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gigi Câmpeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Myszków SSA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC UNIREA Alba Iulia for a fine match.
