Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Myszków SSA's Zbyszek Drab proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Myszków SSA from getting a goal against them. Pawel Gniewek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Cyprian Smolak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mårten Nordström was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wojciech Zbytniewski to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Oakcroft Thrashers's Robin Zander got a free kick in the 75th minute. After 85 played minutes Oakcroft Thrashers got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Asmundsson. After 88 played minutes, Myszków SSA's Boruc Pionek shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mårten Nordström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Myszków SSA reached it. 91 minutes into the match, Jonathan Svensson notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Myszków SSA's Zbyszek Drab. Zbyszek Drab was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Myszków SSA succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Oakcroft Thrashers had controlled the match.
