Spectators: 7477 (Terracing: 5609, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) RAMBO FC's Erasto Cobo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Tello Picado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RAMBO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tello Picado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 4th minute Erasto Cobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Ove Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigi Câmpeanu in the 11th minute of play forced RAMBO FC's goalkeeper Zabal Bucaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Ove Andersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasto Cobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, RAMBO FC's Polo Laime got a free kick in the 15th minute. Karl-Ove Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tello Picado in the 17th minute of play. After 19 played minutes RAMBO FC got a freekick which was hit by Polo Laime. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Finteșteanu got free with Zabal Bucaran in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Karl-Ove Andersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tello Picado in the 22nd minute of the match. Zabal Bucaran made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Mihai Odobescu sent off a good shot on target. In the 25thth minute of the game Tello Picado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Karl-Ove Andersson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner led RAMBO FC's Leo Laime to fire away a dangerous shot which Karl-Ove Andersson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 29th minute of the match, Tudor Bărbânță tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zabal Bucaran saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. RAMBO FC's Zabal Bucaran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save RAMBO FC from getting a goal against them. Karl-Ove Andersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasto Cobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Bărbânță in the 41st minute of play forced RAMBO FC's goalkeeper Zabal Bucaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RAMBO FC's Zabal Bucaran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save RAMBO FC from getting a goal against them. Cristian Casian hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Karl-Ove Andersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasto Cobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tudor Bărbânță was the one to do the kick off. Karl-Ove Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasto Cobo in the 53rd minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goal looked a bit too open when Itzaina Lecubarri came free, but Karl-Ove Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erasto Cobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Ove Andersson having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's zone, Tello Picado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Ove Andersson came out of the goal and Tello Picado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Polo Laime kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Enășoiu in the 73rd minute of play forced RAMBO FC's goalkeeper Zabal Bucaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 played minutes FC UNIREA Alba Iulia got a freekick which was hit by Felix Chirtoacă. In the 84th minute Tudor Bărbânță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zabal Bucaran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC UNIREA Alba Iulia booed when RAMBO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Itzaina Lecubarri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marian Enășoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Zabal Bucaran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. RAMBO FC's Zabal Bucaran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Enășoiu in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, RAMBO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Enășoiu came free, but Zabal Bucaran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erasto Cobo kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia had played much better football throughout.
