The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Super Nova Galaxy's Herbert Wawak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elivélton Maia in the 33rd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franciszek Kaszubik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Alvinegro de Tupã fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sidney Campidelis should have stopped the shot.
