Mircea Avacariței came out of the goal and Johannes Torstensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 17 played minutes FC Urzicuța got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Bocșan. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Staffan Lind successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 20th minute FC Urzicuța were awarded a corner. Emanuel Rogoz went to the cornerflag to take it. Emanuel Rogoz hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Mircea Avacariței took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Torstensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicu Maghiran was the one to do the kick off. When Rareș Andrei came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the FC Urzicuța fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rareș Andrei couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute, Greger Jonasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 minutes, Nik Nicola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Urzicuța and the Linköpings AIK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Linköpings AIK's Olof Brolin was substituted for Sven-Ove Glanselius. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicu Maghiran in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Staffan Lind saved Linköpings AIK from getting behind. Staffan Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicu Maghiran, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. With a little luck, FC Urzicuța's Mircea Avacariței got control of the ball when Johannes Torstensson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th match minute, FC Urzicuța was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicola Rareș to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Linköpings AIK getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Olof Brolin hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Linköpings AIK's zone, Nicu Maghiran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Staffan Lind came out of the goal and Nicu Maghiran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92ndth minute of the game Rareș Andrei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Linköpings AIK's Staffan Lind was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 94 played minutes Linköpings AIK got a freekick which was hit by Inge Godholm. The supporters of Linköpings AIK booed when FC Urzicuța was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Adomniței didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the FC Urzicuța players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
