The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Atletico Aragua FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Froylan Chagavia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Prospero Martino went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 22 played minutes Atletico Aragua FC got a freekick which was hit by Chabier Belon. Elias Milio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otsoko Queipo in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Atletico Aragua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Ledesma came free, but Froylan Chagavia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cordarin Alberete kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Atletico Aragua FC's Benja Belmonte got a free kick in the 70th minute. The supporters of Atletico Aragua FC booed when Caricancha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Atauri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prospero Martino struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Froylan Chagavia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caricancha. Prudencio Goi had several of the Atletico Aragua FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 78 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-4 score and a disappointed Froylan Chagavia as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 80 played minutes Caricancha got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Goi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chabier Belon in the 81st minute of play forced Caricancha's goalkeeper Elias Milio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Chabier Belon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the game, Lino Tercero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caricancha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Aragua FC the free kick. Lino Tercero kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Prudencio Goi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Froylan Chagavia made a huge save. In the 92nd minute, Benja Belmonte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Froylan Chagavia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lino Tercero in the 93rd minute. Otsoko Queipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Milio having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Caricancha walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
