An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Fidalgo in the 63rd minute of play forced Figueira SC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Gino Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Figueira SC FSCMZ were furious when Maicon do Nascimento was red carded, 68 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The audience was convinced that Evaristo Meira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Heitor Teixeira was relentless in the 74th minute of the game.
