Asier Abechuco's late challenge caught a Garrapatita Futbol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octavia's Ado Abello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Octavia from getting a goal against them. Octavia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Fidel Mundo scored to the left of an out of position Ado Abello, making the score, 1-1. Fidel Mundo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Ado Abello made a huge save. In the 13th minute, Dolfos Abendano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zacarias Lucila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atarratze Abarca in the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to Octavia getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Boniel Abalos hit a great ball. After 37 minutes, Benito Piorno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garrapatita Futbol and the Octavia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zosimo Abancens came free in the 39th minute and tried to tip the ball over Zacarias Lucila, but to the joy of Garrapatita Futbol's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. After a rather tough play, Garrapatita Futbol's Fidel Mundo got a free kick in the 41st minute. 47 minutes into the match, Octavia's Jobo Abel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zacarias Lucila narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jobo Abel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Distiratsu Abajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Lucila having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Atarratze Abarca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Octavia's supporters rose to their feet, but Atarratze Abarca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zacarias Lucila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zacarias Lucila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jobo Abel, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. If Jobo Abel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 72 minutes into the match, Garrapatita Futbol's goalkeeper Zacarias Lucila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Atarratze Abarca. Nereo Cai hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When Atarratze Abarca fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Octavia's protests and gave Atarratze Abarca a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute, Atarratze Abarca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Octavia's Jobo Abel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zacarias Lucila. That made the score 1-3 after 86 minutes of play. In the 92nd minute, Atarratze Abarca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Octavia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Atarratze Abarca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octavia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
