Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Manuel Valadão was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Esteve Silva in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gaizkine Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ekain Esperta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute of the game Laércio Vasques made a throw-in which Juvenal Nóbrega played forward. Esteve Silva was a little too slow when Artur Fidalgo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Artur Fidalgo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Gastão Cesário got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomé Pegado's late challenge caught a PreservemospolladeaguaFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomé Pegado helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Tomé Pegado got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 66 minutes of play, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Manuel Valadão made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Artur Fidalgo sped through PreservemospolladeaguaFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Esteve Silva. In the 95th minute, Gastão Cesário ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteve Silva was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0.
