Heitor Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. When Silvano Meireles fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s protests and gave Silvano Meireles a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Silvano Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heitor Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Artur Fidalgo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. Gastão Cesário took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wágner Mota. Wágner Mota dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Wágner Mota didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Artur Fidalgo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. If Gastão Cesário had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Braga to make the kick off. From close distance Christian Braga pressed in the 5-1 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 52 minutes into the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Braga in the 57th minute of play forced Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalkeeper Heitor Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th match minute, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomé Pegado to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Joaquim Brandão got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wágner Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Valadão in the 80th minute of play. Natã de Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natã de Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st match minute, O MOTIVO ⚽ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã de Lima to maneuver through the defense. Heitor Teixeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emílio Veiga in the 92nd minute. Silvano Meireles hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. had won after a very even match.
