In the 2nd match minute, Galo do Cerrado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Matorin to maneuver through the defense. Alfredinho Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deivid Mineiro in the 4th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, TRAKINAS FC's Gilvan Catarinense got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute, Ediberto Guimarães ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredinho Andrade was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Deivid Mineiro hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Waldir Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Branco in the 20th minute of the match. Alfredinho Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléber Oliveira in the 22nd minute of play. Waldir Netto was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Benjamin Branco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benjamin Branco really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Waldir Netto made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Cássio Matorin sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Cássio Matorin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waldir Netto was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. In the 43rd minute Kléber Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, TRAKINAS FC's goalkeeper Waldir Netto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cássio Matorin. 47 minutes into the match, Benjamin Branco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Waldir Netto, 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Benjamin Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldir Netto having to interfere. Cássio Matorin charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cássio Matorin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Galo do Cerrado getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Cássio Matorin hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Matorin in the 59th minute of play forced TRAKINAS FC's goalkeeper Waldir Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio Matorin in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waldir Netto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 74 minutes into the match, TRAKINAS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Branco came free, but Waldir Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldir Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Matorin in the 77th minute of play. Alfredinho Andrade came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by TRAKINAS FC's Betinho Breckenfeld. But to his dismay, Betinho Breckenfeld quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Waldir Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Matorin in the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Benjamin Branco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Waldir Netto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 89th minute, Cássio Matorin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waldir Netto was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. Waldir Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Matorin in the 95th minute of the match. Galo do Cerrado's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
