Spectators: 7448 (Terracing: 5587, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) Pheonix FC's Svenn Gurliph started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Makis Tselementes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steffen Dyrehøj in the 4th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, ΠΑΟΚ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Steffen Dyrehøj came free, but Makis Tselementes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nils Taffenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Pheonix FC defense, Christos Banasas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurits Weinhardt. The Pheonix FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurits Weinhardt should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Diogenis Priovolos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maurits Weinhardt. Pheonix FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diogenis Priovolos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 21 minutes, Diogenis Priovolos made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Pheonix FC's Maurits Weinhardt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sonni Lei charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sonni Lei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sonni Lei kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Diogenis Priovolos struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Maurits Weinhardt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ΠΑΟΚ FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Svenn Gurliph got free with Makis Tselementes in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the game, Alexis Stratigakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ΠΑΟΚ FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pheonix FC the free kick. In the 29th match minute, ΠΑΟΚ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexis Stratigakis to maneuver through the defense. If Vassilis Banasidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pheonix FC's Maurits Weinhardt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogenis Priovolos in the 38th minute of play. Maurits Weinhardt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vassilis Banasidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in ΠΑΟΚ FC's zone, Svenn Gurliph stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Makis Tselementes came out of the goal and Svenn Gurliph tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, Pheonix FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diogenis Priovolos came free, but Maurits Weinhardt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diogenis Priovolos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sonni Lei kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Diogenis Priovolos took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Maurits Weinhardt to make any attempt to save it. During the 55th minute of the match Alexis Stratigakis completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alexis Stratigakis a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Alexis Stratigakis hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Diogenis Priovolos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diogenis Priovolos took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maurits Weinhardt. Maurits Weinhardt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Makis Tselementes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svenn Gurliph in the 71st minute of play. Steffen Dyrehøj kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute of the match Achilleas Vasilatos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maurits Weinhardt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Vassilis Banasidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 80 minutes of play, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Diogenis Priovolos made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurits Weinhardt was left in no man's land by his defense there! 90 minutes into the match, Pheonix FC's goalkeeper Maurits Weinhardt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diogenis Priovolos. 93 minutes into the match, Pheonix FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vassilis Banasidis came free, but Maurits Weinhardt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurits Weinhardt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diogenis Priovolos in the 96th minute. ΠΑΟΚ FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
