In the 15th match minute, Chigüires De Mogadiscio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ximen Remirez to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Isaio Sagrario could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Generoso Sasoin however easily saved by the left post. Generoso Sasoin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eriberto Arizabaleta in the 22nd minute. Chigüires De Mogadiscio were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Gloria Verdinegra AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Feliciano Cedron took the corner. Generoso Sasoin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaio Sagrario in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Eriberto Arizabaleta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Generoso Sasoin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 32 played minutes Gloria Verdinegra AFC got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Iztal. Generoso Sasoin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mamiek Sudaryono, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The supporters of Gloria Verdinegra AFC booed when Chigüires De Mogadiscio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Arizabaleta didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaio Sagrario was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Gloria Verdinegra AFC's Juan Azibar got a free kick in the 50th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Martin Benat notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Peruanton Gayoso. Peruanton Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 64 minutes into the game, Juan Azibar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Peruanton Gayoso. The audience was convinced that Isaio Sagrario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Generoso Sasoin was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaio Sagrario in the 95th minute of play forced Gloria Verdinegra AFC's goalkeeper Generoso Sasoin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
