The referee ignored Pheonix FC's protests and gave Laust Kisling a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pheonix FC's Laust Kisling got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Vanko Spasunov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svenn Gurliph, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Maurits Weinhardt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikola Nistorov in the 10th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Velcho Itev reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maurits Weinhardt. The goal made the score 1-0. Maurits Weinhardt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikola Nistorov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pheonix FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Yanek Marekov scored to the left of an out of position Maurits Weinhardt, making the score, 2-0. In the 35th minute, Yanek Marekov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurits Weinhardt was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The audience was convinced that Marko Kirilov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurits Weinhardt was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Pheonix FC defense, Velcho Itev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurits Weinhardt. The Pheonix FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurits Weinhardt should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Marko Kirilov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maurits Weinhardt. That made the score 6-0 in the 47 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Svenn Gurliph made a kick off. Maurits Weinhardt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Velcho Itev in the 56th minute of play. Pheonix FC's Maurits Weinhardt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yanek Marekov in the 66th minute of play. Maurits Weinhardt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikola Nistorov in the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Velcho Itev in the 75th minute of play forced Pheonix FC's goalkeeper Maurits Weinhardt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Pheonix FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yanek Marekov came free, but Maurits Weinhardt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurits Weinhardt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mincho Groshev in the 80th minute of the match.
