Spectators: 7464 (Terracing: 5599, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) In the 6th match minute, Pheonix FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steffen Dyrehøj to maneuver through the defense. Maurits Weinhardt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Quinto in the 19th minute of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Hernán Losada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curumalán AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernán Losada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Pheonix FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Quinto came free, but Maurits Weinhardt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Quinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Maurits Weinhardt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Curumalán AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Svenn Gurliph came free, but Amado Ishmael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pheonix FC's Maurits Weinhardt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Estefan in the 45th minute of play. When Hernán Losada came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Curumalán AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernán Losada couldn't finish the play. Svenn Gurliph was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 48th minute. Pheonix FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The Pheonix FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Curumalán AFC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eduardo Cordarrell to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Ariel Estefan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Curumalán AFC's Amado Ishmael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svenn Gurliph in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Ariel Estefan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th match minute, Pheonix FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piet Albertus to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the game, Curumalán AFC's Esteban Cambiasso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maurits Weinhardt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laust Kisling during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Laust Kisling hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Pheonix FC's Piet Albertus got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Eduardo Cordarrell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curumalán AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Pheonix FC's Steffen Dyrehøj got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Steffen Dyrehøj off the ground. After 75 played minutes Pheonix FC got a freekick which was hit by Steffen Dyrehøj. Maurits Weinhardt made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Eduardo Cordarrell sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Pheonix FC defense, Ariel Estefan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurits Weinhardt. The Pheonix FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurits Weinhardt should have stopped the shot. Pheonix FC's Maurits Weinhardt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Cambiasso in the 83rd minute of play. After 88 minutes of play, Curumalán AFC's Esteban Cambiasso made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurits Weinhardt was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot 92 in the game by Eduardo Cordarrell from a close distance when the talented Maurits Weinhardt managed to make a qualified save. Pheonix FC's players were relieved. In the 97th match minute, Pheonix FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svenn Gurliph to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th minute, Patricio Alfonso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Curumalán AFC played a much better game than Pheonix FC and deserved their victory. The Pheonix FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
