Generoso Sasoin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Van Nel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Gloria Verdinegra AFC booed when ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. But to his dismay, Andris De Baere quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wim Van Nel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Generoso Sasoin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ludwig de Pelsmaecker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Iztal in the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Leonardo Pepillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludwig de Pelsmaecker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
