Almir Severo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Yanek Marekov fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SvE United's protests and gave Yanek Marekov a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SvE United getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. In the 12th minute Jaime Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vanko Spasunov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Yanek Marekov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Almir Severo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 17 played minutes SvE United got a freekick which was hit by Malin Pervazov. Grêmio Santo André's Almir Severo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Velcho Itev in the 22nd minute of play. Vanko Spasunov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Grêmio Santo André's goal looked a bit too open when Marko Kirilov came free, but Almir Severo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Czech in the 27th minute of play forced SvE United's goalkeeper Vanko Spasunov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Velcho Itev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Almir Severo made a huge save. Almir Severo was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Velcho Itev capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Velcho Itev really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Almir Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marko Kirilov, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Velcho Itev kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Igor Czech was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marko Kirilov was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Marko Kirilov sped through Grêmio Santo André's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Almir Severo. Almir Severo came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by SvE United's Yanek Marekov. But to his dismay, Yanek Marekov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Almir Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denko Krústanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The SvE United fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when SvE United's Yanek Marekov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vanko Spasunov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Czech in the 79th minute of the match. Almir Severo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yanek Marekov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 played minutes Grêmio Santo André got a freekick which was hit by Igor Czech. Jaime Cabral hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Vanko Spasunov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mai Yong Zhi in the 91st minute of the match. Almir Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikola Nistorov, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SvE United had played much better football throughout.
