It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Silvio Totakoxe when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. La Bichineta's Silvio Totakoxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christos Banasas in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Edgardo Ugutz made a precise shot to the right of Makis Tselementes. ΠΑΟΚ FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some careless play in the ΠΑΟΚ FC defense, Octavio Phelipe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Makis Tselementes. The ΠΑΟΚ FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Makis Tselementes should have stopped the shot. In the 38th minute Diogenis Priovolos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Totakoxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octavio Phelipe was the one to do the kick off. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. La Bichineta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
