In the 27th minute of the match, Mané Penha tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maurits Weinhardt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Maurits Weinhardt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christiano Cardoso in the 28th minute. It was a well-played corner which Friedrich Engels managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ricardo Palli took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandre Trevisan. Alexandre Trevisan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Maurits Weinhardt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Penha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurits Weinhardt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dieguinho Alagoano in the 40th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Palli made a kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pheonix FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! Dieguinho Alagoano took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maurits Weinhardt. Maurits Weinhardt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christiano Cardoso in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurits Weinhardt saved Pheonix FC from getting behind. In the 61st minute, Wagner Schaumburg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 65th minute Steffen Dyrehøj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Trevisan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurits Weinhardt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Maurits Weinhardt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mané Penha in the 73rd minute of play. In the 88th minute, Christiano Cardoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurits Weinhardt was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 91st minute Friedrich Engels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurits Weinhardt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Pheonix FC's Lejf Palmus seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lejf Palmus the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pheonix FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lejf Palmus had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Pheonix FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Lejf Palmus hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Piet Albertus during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tarrasque Voador F.C. had played much better football throughout.
