Almir Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastián Boselli, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Jorge Paraense reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Moises Lon. The goal made the score 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Moises Lon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Paraense went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 60thth minute of the game Hernan Uzuri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grêmio Santo André's Almir Severo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Almir Severo made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Camilo Peru sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grêmio Santo André's goalkeeper Almir Severo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 66 in the game by Hernan Uzuri from a close distance when the talented Almir Severo managed to make a qualified save. Grêmio Santo André's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aristides Lorencio during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Madison fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Madison's Hernan Uzuri looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Grêmio Santo André getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Igor Czech hit a great ball. With a little luck, Grêmio Santo André's Almir Severo got control of the ball when Severino Claude tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chiquinho Valle got a throw-in 96 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Mai Yong Zhi. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
