Hernan Uzuri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Generoso Sasoin made a huge save. In the 19th minute, Domingo Vedillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Aristides Lorencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Generoso Sasoin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gloria Verdinegra AFC's Generoso Sasoin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Gloria Verdinegra AFC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Peru in the 26th minute of play forced Gloria Verdinegra AFC's goalkeeper Generoso Sasoin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Gloria Verdinegra AFC's Juan Azibar got a free kick in the 27th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Benat was the one to do the kick off. Anacleto Lawrence fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Sasoin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gloria Verdinegra AFC's Samuel Intxixu got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Aristides Lorencio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Generoso Sasoin was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. Anacleto Lawrence scored 12-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Generoso Sasoin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 94 minutes of play, Madison's Hernan Uzuri made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Generoso Sasoin was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Madison were the better team. Madison's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
