Severino Claude could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Maurits Weinhardt made a huge save. Humberto Eliu took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maurits Weinhardt. Maurits Weinhardt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When Humberto Eliu came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Madison fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Eliu couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute, Severino Claude ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurits Weinhardt was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 26th minute, Hernan Uzuri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurits Weinhardt was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvano Polentzi got free with Maurits Weinhardt in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maurits Weinhardt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Polentzi in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Hernan Uzuri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Madison fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Maurits Weinhardt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Polentzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurits Weinhardt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Uzuri in the 45th minute of the match. Madison's Nunez Guillelmus suffered a concussion after 45 minutes and had to leave the field. 45 minutes into the game, Steffen Dyrehøj was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pheonix FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Madison the free kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Palli made a kick off. After some careless play in the Pheonix FC defense, Severino Claude kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurits Weinhardt. The Pheonix FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurits Weinhardt should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Pheonix FC's Lejf Palmus got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Severino Claude sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pheonix FC's Maurits Weinhardt didn't even have to move. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Humberto Eliu put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Maurits Weinhardt. Maurits Weinhardt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humberto Eliu went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Maurits Weinhardt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Claude in the 73rd minute of the match. If Hernan Uzuri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Pheonix FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Runar Hårdell hit a great ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Severino Claude managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Madison's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Claude was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute, Hernan Uzuri had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After a rather tough play, Pheonix FC's Lejf Palmus got a free kick in the 81st minute. Humberto Eliu succeeded in the game's 83rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 9-0. Maurits Weinhardt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Claude in the 87th minute of play. Pheonix FC's Maurits Weinhardt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Eliu in the 88th minute of play. In the 90thth minute of the game Humberto Eliu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pheonix FC's Maurits Weinhardt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Madison booed when Pheonix FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steffen Dyrehøj didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94thth minute of the game Silvano Polentzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pheonix FC's Maurits Weinhardt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maurits Weinhardt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Claude, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
