The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of ΠΑΟΚ FC booed when Curumalán AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Cambiasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexis Stratigakis during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. David Abraham was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 67 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Alexis Stratigakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amado Ishmael. Curumalán AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexis Stratigakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. If Vassilis Banasidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
