The supporters of SvE United booed when Curumalán AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Alfonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Esteban Cambiasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute, Yanek Marekov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SvE United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, SvE United's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Quinto came free, but Vanko Spasunov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Curumalán AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! The audience was convinced that Marko Kirilov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amado Ishmael was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Curumalán AFC's Amado Ishmael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Curumalán AFC from getting a goal against them. Hernán Losada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 40 minutes, Esteban Cambiasso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curumalán AFC and the SvE United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Curumalán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Cambiasso to maneuver through the defense. Vanko Spasunov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Quinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Ariel Estefan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vanko Spasunov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduardo Cordarrell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 79th minute, Diyan Bogdantzaliev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute of the match Curumalán AFC got a corner. SvE United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Clemente Prejun ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Clemente Prejun got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vanko Spasunov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 89 played minutes Curumalán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Estefan. Amado Ishmael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yanek Marekov in the 97th minute of the match. Curumalán AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
