The tension between the El Retorno de Palermo and the Gloria Verdinegra AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Gloria Verdinegra AFC's zone, Vicente Bakar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Generoso Sasoin came out of the goal and Vicente Bakar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Generoso Sasoin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerardo Oalo in the 5th minute. Danilo Milian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute, Aaron Cebo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anibal Egoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Pepillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, El Retorno de Palermo's Guillermo Espiridion ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Generoso Sasoin. Generoso Sasoin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 17th minute, Gerardo Oalo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Retorno de Palermo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Juan Azibar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Egoitz having to interfere. Gerardo Oalo scored 3-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Generoso Sasoin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Vicente Bakar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Generoso Sasoin. That made the score 4-0 in the 27 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Milian in the 37th minute of play forced Gloria Verdinegra AFC's goalkeeper Generoso Sasoin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Generoso Sasoin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Milian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Generoso Sasoin made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Julian Afonso sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Generoso Sasoin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valentin Pacho hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Gerardo Oalo struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Generoso Sasoin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Retorno de Palermo. Anibal Egoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Benat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Generoso Sasoin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Milian in the 65th minute of play. Gloria Verdinegra AFC's Generoso Sasoin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Bakar in the 68th minute of play. A collision led to El Retorno de Palermo getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Gerardo Oalo hit a great ball. Generoso Sasoin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Napier, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. With a little luck, El Retorno de Palermo's Anibal Egoitz got control of the ball when Leonardo Pepillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 77 minutes of play, El Retorno de Palermo's Vicente Bakar made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Generoso Sasoin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Generoso Sasoin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Oalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Azibar hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. El Retorno de Palermo's Rosendo Izotz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gloria Verdinegra AFC. Anibal Egoitz was a little too slow when Leonardo Pepillo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 8-1. Gloria Verdinegra AFC's Generoso Sasoin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Milian in the 94th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gloria Verdinegra AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for El Retorno de Palermo.
