Spectators: 7499 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Doyle Brunson kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Liviu Soare dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bertil Bollström, 1-0. Zebastian Rudkvist's late challenge caught a Galati Harbour Cats's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zebastian Rudkvist helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th minute, Zebastian Rudkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Andone during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Andone. Bertil Bollström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Andone in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute Liviu Soare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertil Bollström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Andones short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Bertil Bollström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bertil Bollström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Soare in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basarab Zdroană in the 28th minute of play forced Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goalkeeper Bertil Bollström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basarab Zdroană scored 4-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bertil Bollström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK booed when Galati Harbour Cats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basarab Zdroană didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manole Ghiondea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doyle Brunson in the 38th minute of play. Basarab Zdroană received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bertil Bollström came out and tried to block the shot, but Basarab Zdroană slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 42nd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Liviu Soare was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Douglas Västberg hit a great ball. Galati Harbour Cats's Filip Mavrogheni couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK. Bertil Bollström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Soare in the 54th minute of the match. Bertil Bollström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Mavrogheni, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Manole Ghiondea was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zebastian Rudkvist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-1 in the 68 minute of play. Bertil Bollström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basarab Zdroană, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Minculescu made in the 74th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Liviu Soare however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basarab Zdroană in the 75th minute of play forced Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goalkeeper Bertil Bollström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basarab Zdroană in the 78th minute of play forced Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goalkeeper Bertil Bollström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK defense, Basarab Zdroană kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bertil Bollström. The Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bertil Bollström should have stopped the shot. Liviu Soare kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Galati Harbour Cats's zone, Doyle Brunson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manole Ghiondea came out of the goal and Doyle Brunson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes in the game Aurel Crainic did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Liviu Soare. In the 94th minute, Liviu Soare left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galati Harbour Cats fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Galati Harbour Cats.
