Spectators: 7495 (Terracing: 5622, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Liviu Soare started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Nelsinho Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4 minutes into the match, Liviu Soare notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of São José City - FSCMZ's Hélder Severo. Hélder Severo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hélder Severo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Andone in the 8th minute of the match. After 12 minutes, Sebastian Andone made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. São José City - FSCMZ's Hélder Severo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Basarab Zdroană struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Hélder Severo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galati Harbour Cats. 20 minutes into the match, São José City - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Aurel Crainic came free, but Hélder Severo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Liviu Soare left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galati Harbour Cats fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Liviu Soare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Galati Harbour Cats's Liviu Soare got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Sebastian Andone notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of São José City - FSCMZ's Hélder Severo. Hélder Severo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Liviu Soare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Hélder Severo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Sebastian Andone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Galati Harbour Cats were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roger Costa made a kick off. Manole Ghiondea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Paulo Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute Liviu Soare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Severo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sebastian Andone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, São José City - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Soare came free, but Hélder Severo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dito Xavier fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored São José City - FSCMZ's protests and gave Dito Xavier a yellow card for diving instead. Galati Harbour Cats's Sebastian Andone got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manole Ghiondea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelsinho Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Liviu Soare kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hélder Severo. That made the score 0-7 in the 83 minute of play. Liviu Soare took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hélder Severo. Hélder Severo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Hélder Severo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basarab Zdroană went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score.
