NFC Eagles 22's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eneid Ilo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Dé Baron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Shefqet Isallari made a huge save. In the 33rd match minute, NFC Eagles 22 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ton de Ruijter to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Mali i Thatë FC's Shefqet Isallari got control of the ball when Dé Baron tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dé Baron made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Pjeter Prishtina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mali i Thatë FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NFC Eagles 22 the free kick. The supporters of NFC Eagles 22 booed when Mali i Thatë FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pjeter Prishtina didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's goal looked a bit too open when Eneid Ilo came free, but Christiaan Been reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ton de Ruijter fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NFC Eagles 22's protests and gave Ton de Ruijter a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, NFC Eagles 22's Ton de Ruijter got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 62nd minute Meleq Tare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christiaan Been saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shefqet Isallari dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-7. In the 87th match minute, NFC Eagles 22 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ton de Ruijter to maneuver through the defense. Eneid Ilo's shot from long distance in the 89th minute was not bad at all, but NFC Eagles 22's Christiaan Been knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. 96 minutes into the match, Mali i Thatë FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dé Baron came free, but Shefqet Isallari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Mali i Thatë FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than NFC Eagles 22 throughout the match.
