Johannes Steelman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 30th match minute, NFC Eagles 22 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dé Baron to maneuver through the defense. Gervasio Tartalo's late challenge caught a NFC Eagles 22's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gervasio Tartalo helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 played minutes San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Tartalo. Gervasio Tartalo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Dé Baron came free, but Donato Azeari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giovanni Rademaker hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Dé Baron got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 45 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Donato Azeari had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dé Baron. A collision led to NFC Eagles 22 getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Giovanni Rademaker hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Severiano Fresco made the kick off in the second half. Johannes Steelman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severiano Fresco in the 55th minute. After 57 minutes, Dé Baron made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. San Lorenzo's Donato Azeari tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Donato Azeari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé Baron, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 92 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Dé Baron came free, but Donato Azeari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Leo Fix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the game, Chris Hollander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Donato Azeari was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. San Lorenzo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
