Franck Assendelft was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 15th minute, Ferry Schattenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferenc Jászberényi, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Dénes Boross notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Kelmond S.C.'s Franck Assendelft. Franck Assendelft made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Mihály Földesi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franck Assendelft stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mihály Földesi's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Szombathely Squirrels's Dénes Boross got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute of the match Olivér Cselényi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franck Assendelft skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mihály Földesi in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franck Assendelft prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Kelmond S.C.'s Franck Assendelft proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Kelmond S.C. from getting a goal against them. Franck Assendelft made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Mihály Földesi sent off a good shot on target. The Szombathely Squirrels fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Szombathely Squirrels's Mihály Földesi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mihály Földesi kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The supporters of Kelmond S.C. booed when Szombathely Squirrels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zsolt Vörös didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Szombathely Squirrels left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kelmond S.C..
