After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Gentil Perdigão managed to get in a good position for a shot. PLURAL's supporters rose to their feet, but Gentil Perdigão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Luís Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aristides Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute César Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio Coutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caio Coutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caio Coutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Esteves in the 15th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Marzagão got a freekick which was hit by César Rosa. After some careless play in the Marzagão defense, Gentil Perdigão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Luís Fernandez. The Marzagão fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Luís Fernandez should have stopped the shot. In the 26th minute, Gentil Perdigão made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Luís Fernandez. Marzagão's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gentil Perdigão during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, PLURAL's Gentil Perdigão got a free kick in the 30th minute. Pedro Luís Fernandez made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Gentil Perdigão sent off a good shot on target. The corner ended in Aristides Machado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez did a great save. After 36th play minutes Gentil Perdigão shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Pedro Luís Fernandez and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 38th minute, Serafim Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Aristides Machado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th match minute, PLURAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Falcão to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Marzagão getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Caco Donato hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredo Esteves was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Mariano Avelar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PLURAL and the Marzagão players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mariano Avelar kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 56 played minutes, PLURAL's Leandro Falcão shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Luís Fernandez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PLURAL reached it. 60 minutes into the match, Gentil Perdigão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Luís Fernandez. Marzagão's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gentil Perdigão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. César Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Aldo Melo notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez. Pedro Luís Fernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Gentil Perdigão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Luís Fernandez was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Pedro Luís Fernandez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gentil Perdigão's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Gentil Perdigão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Luís Fernandez was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. 89 minutes into the game, PLURAL's Gentil Perdigão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Luís Fernandez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Pedro Luís Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gentil Perdigão in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute, César Rosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that PLURAL were the better team. PLURAL's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
