Spectators: 7474 (Terracing: 5607, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) Franck Assendelft showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Huly in the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Apolo Huly had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franck Assendelft. Kelmond S.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Apolo Huly was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 8 minutes into the game, Gerrit Bemmel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kelmond S.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kelmond S.C.'s Gerrit Bemmel got a free kick in the 8th minute. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Jaime Bero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Youri de Zaaijer in the 15th minute of play. Apolo Huly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th match minute, Kelmond S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerrit Bemmel to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Kelmond S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Huly came free, but Franck Assendelft reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 0-2 became the score in the 26th minute when Apolo Huly elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Franck Assendelft made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Huly in the 29th minute of play. Franck Assendelft took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Huly, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the game, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Apolo Huly nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franck Assendelft made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Franck Assendelft didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Apolo Huly went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. If Apolo Huly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Youri de Zaaijer to strike the kick off in the second half. Jaime Bero came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Kelmond S.C.'s Youri de Zaaijer. But to his dismay, Youri de Zaaijer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hub Heida in the 59th minute of play forced C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goalkeeper Jaime Bero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Jaime Bero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Youri de Zaaijer in the 60th minute of play. Apolo Huly had several of the Kelmond S.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 61 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-5 score and a disappointed Franck Assendelft as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 67 played minutes Kelmond S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ger Daems. If Hub Heida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 71 minutes into the game, Kelmond S.C.'s Youri de Zaaijer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaime Bero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Franck Assendelft showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Huly, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Kelmond S.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Moises Garci took the corner. In the 81st match minute, Kelmond S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerrit Bemmel to maneuver through the defense. Apolo Huly kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Youri de Zaaijer in the 84th minute of play forced C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goalkeeper Jaime Bero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Youri de Zaaijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE booed when Kelmond S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerrit Bemmel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apolo Huly blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Franck Assendelft having to make a save. With an all-out effort, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Franck Assendelft threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Apolo Huly, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
