The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Rosa in the 12th minute of play forced ACe Aimaro Juniors's goalkeeper Herbert Marciewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neil Mar hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 14 played minutes, ACe Aimaro Juniors's Golo Grama shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Luís Fernandez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ACe Aimaro Juniors reached it. In the 15th minute of the match Edmund Jurgiel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Luís Fernandez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Herbert Marciewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Donato in the 17th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Esteves got free with Herbert Marciewicz in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Marzagão getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Serafim Reis hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, ACe Aimaro Juniors's Wincent Budrewicz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 31 minutes into the match, Radowit Hludzenski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Luís Fernandez. Marzagão's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Radowit Hludzenski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Herbert Marciewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson Fernandes in the 37th minute of play. In the 41st minute of the match, César Rosa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Herbert Marciewicz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Alberto Prado got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Herbert Marciewicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Esteves in the 44th minute. After 45 played minutes Marzagão got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Dias. Herbert Marciewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Rosa in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredo Esteves made a kick off. Herbert Marciewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Esteves in the 51st minute of play. After some careless play in the ACe Aimaro Juniors defense, César Rosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herbert Marciewicz. The ACe Aimaro Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herbert Marciewicz should have stopped the shot. In the 58th minute Alberto Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Marciewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, ACe Aimaro Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when César Rosa came free, but Herbert Marciewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Golo Grama hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincent Budrewicz in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute Neil Mar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Marciewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radowit Hludzenski kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Alberto Prado scored 4-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herbert Marciewicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Pankracy Winszman fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ACe Aimaro Juniors's protests and gave Pankracy Winszman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, ACe Aimaro Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pankracy Winszman to maneuver through the defense. Herbert Marciewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válbson Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Pedro Luís Fernandez was a little too slow when Wincent Budrewicz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 4-2. Herbert Marciewicz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from César Rosa went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Cristian Dias charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Dias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had been going on for 96 minutes, ACe Aimaro Juniors's Wincent Budrewicz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Pedro Luís Fernandez. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Marzagão had played much better football throughout.
