Spectators: 7563 (Terracing: 5673, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lorenzo Fernado started the match with the kick off. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Lorenzo Fernado sped through Szombathely Squirrels's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Róbert Kormos. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Lorenzo Fernado got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Szombathely Squirrels's Róbert Kormos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Fernado in the 12th minute of play. János Major kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Fernado came free, but Róbert Kormos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihály Csontos hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Lorenzo Fernado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Szombathely Squirrels getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Gusztáv Győrffy hit a great ball. Apolo Huly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Lorenzo Fernado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 35 minutes of play, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Lorenzo Fernado made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Róbert Kormos was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Lorenzo Fernado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 39 minutes, Moises Garci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Garci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihály Földesi in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaime Bero saved C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Szombathely Squirrels's Ferenc Jászberényi got a free kick in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Mihály Földesi made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Ismael Haritzeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mihály Földesi in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaime Bero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 56 minutes into the game, Szombathely Squirrels's Mihály Földesi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaime Bero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Jaime Bero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mihály Földesi's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zsolt Vörös in the 61st minute of play forced C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goalkeeper Jaime Bero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Szombathely Squirrels's Zsolt Vörös in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goalie prevented a goal. A hard shot 63 in the game by Lorenzo Fernado from a close distance when the talented Róbert Kormos managed to make a qualified save. Szombathely Squirrels's players were relieved. Szombathely Squirrels's Róbert Kormos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Huly in the 65th minute of play. Róbert Kormos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Apolo Huly showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 70 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Huly in the 72nd minute of play forced Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Róbert Kormos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 played minutes C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Haritzeder. Jaime Bero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferenc Jászberényi, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Jaime Bero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zsolt Vörös's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. A collision led to C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Mauricio Hegoi hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Ferenc Jászberényi in the 85th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jaime Bero's left hand side. In the 86th minute, Gusztáv Győrffy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th match minute, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Hegoi to maneuver through the defense. Róbert Kormos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lorenzo Fernado in the 92nd minute. Jaime Bero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihály Földesi in the 94th minute of play. If Apolo Huly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
