Pedro Luís Fernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 20 minutes, Bratan Vladikov mouthed his way into the referee's book. Dafin Pastirov succeeded in the game's 42nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Alberto Prado's late challenge caught a Botev Plovdiv 1912's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Prado helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Marzagão getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Alberto Prado hit a great ball.

Botev Plovdiv 1912's Dafin Pastirov got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Luís Fernandez made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Dafin Pastirov sent off a good shot on target. Tenyo Shivarov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Rosa in the 58th minute of the match. Botev Plovdiv 1912 made a substitution. Igor Pisarski replaced Stoyko Babachev. 69 minutes into the match, Botev Plovdiv 1912's Avgust Súbchev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Luís Fernandez narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
