The audience thought a goal was coming when Dariusz Juszkowski got free with Desiderio Endura in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute Arturo Acevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Plucinik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ludomir Walec's late challenge caught a SOUTH THUNDER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludomir Walec helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SOUTH THUNDER getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Franco Mastantuono hit a great ball. SOUTH THUNDER's Desiderio Endura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigiusz Bejrut in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, SOUTH THUNDER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franco Mastantuono to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, LKS Sieraków ŚL's Remigiusz Bejrut ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Desiderio Endura. Desiderio Endura yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 32nd minute, Leonard Scigan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 minutes of play SOUTH THUNDER's Franco Mastantuono was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Dariusz Juszkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Borys Plucinik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Solari in the 39th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Edgard Quintan managed to get in a good position for a shot. SOUTH THUNDER's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Quintan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Borys Plucinik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgard Quintan made a kick off. Andrzej Szel's late challenge caught a SOUTH THUNDER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrzej Szel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, LKS Sieraków ŚL's Andrzej Szel got a free kick in the 53rd minute. If Arturo Acevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Acevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Desiderio Endura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigiusz Bejrut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo Acevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Borys Plucinik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Edgard Quintan took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Borys Plucinik to make any attempt to save it. LKS Sieraków ŚL's Borys Plucinik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Quintan in the 74th minute of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Edgard Quintan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SOUTH THUNDER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Quintan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Germán Pezzella lost his temper 98 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 97th minute, one of SOUTH THUNDER:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SOUTH THUNDER. Desiderio Endura had in the 100thth minute some difficulties stopping Wawrzyniec Sobania's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The excitement rose when LKS Sieraków ŚL's Wawrzyniec Sobania after 100 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for SOUTH THUNDER's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-3. The LKS Sieraków ŚL fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SOUTH THUNDER were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
