The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haşim Tekcan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 2nd match minute, ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haşim Tekcan to maneuver through the defense. Jacob Belém took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe Jewell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuseppe Jewell in the 4th minute of play forced ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵'s goalkeeper Jacob Belém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Pekin Acarbey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jim Mitchell was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. When Santos FC's Giuseppe Jewell in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuseppe Jewell in the 18th minute of play forced ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵'s goalkeeper Jacob Belém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jim Mitchell made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Orhun Ciray sent off a good shot on target. After 24 minutes, Giuseppe Jewell made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵'s Jacob Belém tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute, ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵'s Fehmi Tunçkılıç ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jim Mitchell. Jim Mitchell yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Pekin Acarbeys short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Jim Mitchell to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 36 minutes into the match, Santos FC's goalkeeper Jim Mitchell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pekin Acarbey. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Desmond Rowell in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacob Belém saved ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵ from getting behind. After 44 played minutes ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵ got a freekick which was hit by Orhun Ciray. 46 minutes into the match, Giuseppe Jewell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacob Belém. ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giuseppe Jewell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Pekin Acarbey made the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Orhun Ciray who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santos FC's Jim Mitchell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute, Pekin Acarbey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Jim Mitchell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pekin Acarbey in the 69th minute of the match. Semi Sertaç hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Jacob Belém showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe Jewell, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 75th minute, Forrest Hopkins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Semi Sertaç was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Semi Sertaç fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵'s protests and gave Semi Sertaç a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Santos FC booed when ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Semi Sertaç didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Rodrick Orlinsky hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, Santos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Orhun Ciray came free, but Jim Mitchell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
