Spectators: 7505 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jonas Lekubegi kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Victor Hess had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cornelio Abadie. LA InDuStRiA INC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Hess was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Santos FC booed when LA InDuStRiA INC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Izotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jim Mitchell made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Cipriano Castel sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Giuseppe Jewell put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Cornelio Abadie. Jim Mitchell came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by LA InDuStRiA INC's Juan Inocente. But to his dismay, Juan Inocente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Cornelio Abadie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Hess's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Cornelio Abadie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Hess in the 40th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Giuseppe Jewell made a kick off. Victor Hess's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cornelio Abadie firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 57th match minute, Santos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrick Orlinsky to maneuver through the defense. If Jonas Lekubegi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornelio Abadie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Jewell in the 61st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Santos FC's Cornelio Abadie threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Giuseppe Jewell, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 70th minute, Victor Hess left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Giuseppe Jewell received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cornelio Abadie came out and tried to block the shot, but Giuseppe Jewell slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 74th minute. 78 minutes into the game, Victor Hess recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cornelio Abadie. Victor Hess showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-6. After 82 played minutes Santos FC got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Coulter. Cornelio Abadie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe Jewell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Giuseppe Jewell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cornelio Abadie was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 91st minute Giuseppe Jewell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Abadie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodrick Orlinsky during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Santos FC's Rodrick Orlinsky got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
